Range Rules
Range Rules:
1. When people are down range, back away from the bench/firing line, and DO NOT handle firearms.
2. Keep the gun unloaded and action open until ready to use.
3. Always point the muzzle in a safe direction and do not raise it above the horizon.
4. Firearms may not be handled after consuming alcohol.
5. Use target frames and boards that are provided. Do not place targets on support posts.
6. Do not place target on the ground.
7. No unauthorized target (cans, bottles, glass, bowling pins, etc.)
8. Keycard/badge must be displayed at all times while on premises.
9. All members and guests must sign in and out on the log sheet.
10. Eye and ear protection MUST be worn by shooter and non-shooters near the shooting activities.
Guest Policy:
1. Members are to make guests aware of the range rules.
2. The member will assume the responsibility of Range Safety Officer and instructor.
3. Members must supervise guests at all times and will not leave them unattended.
4. Guests must be known to the member. No member is to let an unknown, non-member into the range to shoot.
5. A member may bring any number of his/her immediate family members (spouse and minor children) to the range.
6. The member must be present at all times.
7. Members are to make all family aware of the range rules.
Any guest interested in shooting frequently, should be encouraged to become a member.
Fall Rifle Range Policy:
This policy has been removed since the rifle range was renovated.
Safety Meeting Policy:
In order to renew your membership each year, you must attend a Safety Meetings before one of the quarterly meetings in current year. For example, to renew your membership in 2020 you must attend a Safety Meeting in 2019. Please see the calendar for dates and times.
Clarification on authorized targets and ammunition:
No explosive or incendiary targets, flares, tracer, or incendiary ammunition.
